Shannon Handley

Shannon Handley, is the owner and principal designer at Handley Home Interiors. A full service design studio located in Waxhaw, NC and serving the Charlotte area. Shannon is an active member of the Interior Design Society and a board member of the Alliance of Interior Designers. Although she received a degree in Psychology, Shannon has been a lover of all things design and has be transforming homes for over 15 years! In 2005, she changed her career path and she received her Certification in Interior Decorating. However, her background in Psychology helps her connect on a more personal level with her clients. She enjoys giving her clients a pulled together and well thought out space that reflects their personality. Her mission is to help bring a harmonious feeling to your home by using a mix of your style and her design expertise. Shannon sees every client as a new opportunity to build a relationship of trust and create a home that enhances the way they live and  feel. She says, “Your home and your environment have a direct emotional connection to your well being.”

Shannon is also the VP of Operations for a local chapter of Savvy Giving By Design. SGBD is a non-profit national organization of professional interior designers whose mission is to provide comfort, support, and healing to families with a child facing a medical crisis by transforming the child’s interior space of their home at no cost to them.
